Pay: £160 - £210 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-Time | Long-Term | Temp-to-Perm
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join specialist and inclusive schools across West Yorkshire, supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs, including SEMH, ASC, MLD, and PMLD.
The Role:
Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet the individual learning needs of SEN pupils.
Support pupils' emotional, social, and behavioural development.
Collaborate closely with TAs, SENCOs, therapists, and external specialists to ensure a holistic approach to learning.
Implement adaptive teaching strategies and communication techniques (e.g., PECS, Makaton).
Contribute to EHCP reviews, progress tracking, and multi-disciplinary meetings.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
Experience in SEN education, SEMH, or alternative provision
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Full-time availability (term-time)
Desirable:
Experience with Team Teach, Moving & Handling, or other SEN-specific interventions
Driving licence and access to transport
