Are you a passionate and motivated Primary Teacher looking for your next opportunity? Whether you're an experienced educator or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), we are seeking enthusiastic Fully Qualified Teachers (QTS) to work across a variety of welcoming and supportive primary schools throughout Wakefield.

As a Primary Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that support pupil progress
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Follow and implement the National Curriculum effectively
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners
  • Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour
  • Work collaboratively with school staff to support pupil achievement

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • Have experience teaching within the Primary sector
  • Possess a strong understanding of the KS1 and/or KS2 curriculum
  • Be committed to raising attainment and supporting pupil development
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • Have a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

A First Aid qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.

  • Passionate about helping children succeed
  • Confident in creating engaging learning experiences
  • Dedicated to supporting pupils both academically and personally
  • Able to quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff
