Teaching Personnel are currently seeking for Tutors to work alongisde a Local Authority in Durham.
You will be requried to teach English and Maths GCSE subjects to pupils who have been out of education for a long period of time.
Regardless of your availability we would like to hear from you!
Most of the pupils will be working at their expected levels however some pupils may be working at lower levels and therefore knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum is desirable.
The right candidate will have experience in challenging behaviour and SEN, as some pupils may not be willing to engage.
You will plan and deliver each lesson, prepare your own rescourse and assess the students as well as complete weekly tutor reports.
Access to your own vehicle is desirable as travelling will be involved to reach each student.
You could earn between £20 to £30 per hour depending on experience.
Most new referrals will now commence in the new academic year.
We have a ‘Refer a friend’ scheme, where you can earn £50 by nominating your fellow colleagues/friends for work.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
