Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting young people who face challenges in their education journey? A Secondary Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) is seeking a dedicated Youth Worker to join their team starting in September.

As a Youth Worker at our PRU, you will play a crucial role in providing guidance, mentorship, and support to students who may be experiencing difficulties in a traditional school setting. You will work closely with a diverse range of young people, building trusting relationships and empowering them to overcome obstacles and achieve their full potential.

Ideal candidates will have a genuine passion for working with adolescents, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and empathetic in challenging situations. Experience working in a similar role or with young people facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges is desirable but not essential, as comprehensive training and support will be provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
