Teaching Assistant Suitable to NQT

Reeson education are currently searching for a PMLD Teaching Assistant's to work within SEN School in Brent.

What will be your role within the classroom?

• Working closely with parents and reporting back on pupils' progress
• Preparing the classroom ready for the school day
• Working with children on a 1:1 basis as well as in small groups
• Providing personal care
• Observing children's behaviour

I am currently looking for PMLD Teaching Assistant's for an immediate start. We are looking for charismatic individuals with fantastic interpersonal skills to work with children with profound and multiple learning difficulties.

What does PMLD mean?

Children with PMLD will have more than one disability, this could mean they may have trouble with the following: communication, hearing and visual impairments, physical disabilities, and mental health difficulties. Many individuals with profound multiple learning difficulties rely on different ways to communicate this maybe through such as PECS and Makaton.

What's the client school like?

As a company we have worked with this school for a number of years. They are an Ofsted rated outstanding school located in the borough of Brent. This school is based across 2 sites and work with children from the age of 4 - 18. They are a lovely and highly supportive team, and can offer fantastic facilities to their students.
