Teacher of Female PE

Smile Education Northwest are delighted to be working alongside a forward-thinking secondary school based in North Manchester. We are currently seeking a Teacher of Female PE to join the team from September 2024.
We are currently seeking a Teacher of Female PE to join the team from September 2024 until the end of the academic year. The successful applicant will be carrying out all usual roles and responsibilities associated with a class teaching position, including marking and planning. You will be supporting pupils across both KS3 and KS4 , including pupils working towards GCSE’s.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a diverse and friendly team in an exciting teaching role. The school is located in north Manchester, within proximity to Hindley, Ince-in-Makerfield, and Wigan town centre. The expected salary range for this role is between £150-210 per day, depending on experience.
 
What to expect from applicants?
 
We would like applicants to hold Qualified Teacher Status and should be confident in Teaching female PE  up to KS4. Applicants will benefit from completing a trial day ahead of starting employment, allowing you to get to know the school and staff before commencing employment.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Confident in teaching Female PE across KS3 and KS4, including pupils working towards GCSE’s
• Available to start from September 2024. Both ECT’s and experienced class teachers are encouraged to apply.
