The Role: We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated qualified Teacher or ECT to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with students with SEN, supporting their learning and development in a nurturing and inclusive setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement personalised learning plans for students with SEN, ensuring that their individual needs and abilities are fully supported.
  • Create engaging and accessible lesson materials that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities, promoting an inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to coordinate support services and interventions for students with SEN.
  • Regularly assess students' progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed to ensure optimal learning outcomes.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and support to students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a collaborative and supportive learning community.
  • Stay informed about best practices and developments in SEN education, participating in professional development opportunities as appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification in Special Education.
  • Previous experience working with students with SEN desirable, ideally in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • A genuine passion for working with students with diverse learning needs, coupled with patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
