  • Provide tailored academic support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans based on students' specific needs
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' learning experience
  • Monitor and assess students' progress regularly to adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Collaborate with other professionals, parents, and caregivers to ensure holistic support for students
  • Recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Knowledge of SEN legislation and best practises

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Prior experience working with SEN students in an educational setting

  • Strong understanding of different learning styles and strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Organisational skills to track student progress and manage resources effectively
  • Additional training or certifications in Special Education
  • Experience using assistive technology to support students with SEN

This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing support to students with SEN in an educational setting in South East England, Berkshire, Wokingham.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
