We are seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to join our team in Surrey, South East England. As an SEN Tutor, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to students with special educational needs. Your primary focus will be on delivering tailored lessons and activities to meet the individual learning requirements of each student.

  • Develop and implement personalised education plans for students with special educational needs
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to support students' academic and personal development
  • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Prior experience working with SEN students

  • Understanding of SEN teaching methods and best practises
  • Ability to adapt teaching techniques to suit individual learning styles
  • Strong organisational and time management skills

This position is part-time, with flexible hours. The work environment will involve interacting with students, parents, and other education professionals. Travel to different locations within Surrey may be required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
