We are a dedicated team of professionals committed to providing individualised learning and support for students with mental health difficulties or additional needs. Our goal is to help students achieve their best possible outcomes by tailoring the learning experience to their individual needs and providing a positive and supportive environment.

As a SEN tutor, you will work with students who find the school curriculum challenging. You will be responsible for providing 1-1 or small group tutoring sessions, adjusting the lesson plan to suit the individual or group's needs. You will also communicate regularly with students, parents, and other school professionals to monitor progress and make adjustments where necessary.

  • Provide 1-1 or small group tutoring sessions tailored to the individual or group's needs
  • Recognise areas where students are struggling and adjust the lesson plan
  • Identify and develop students' strengths
  • Communicate regularly with students, parents, and other school professionals
  • Apply evidence-based strategies to support student progress and emotional well-being
  • Educated to a degree level
  • Previous experience working within the SEN sector and with students who have mental health difficulties or additional needs
  • Experience delivering core subjects up to GCSE level
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive and effective rapport with students
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in positively impacting students' lives

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
