SEN Teacher (QTS) – Central Birmingham SEN Specialist Teacher – Full Time
Location: Central Birmingham
Pay: £140 – £200 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: Summer Term with long-term opportunities available from September
Contract: Monday to Friday, Full-time

Smile Education is currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teachers to support specialist schools and alternative provision settings across Central Birmingham.
We are looking for teachers who are passionate about inclusive education and committed to supporting children and young people with additional needs. The Role
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to pupils with a range of SEN needs.
- Support pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication difficulties.
- Plan lessons in line with EHCP targets and personalised learning plans.
- Create positive and inclusive classroom environments.
- Manage behaviour effectively using positive behaviour strategies.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide regular feedback.
- Work collaboratively with SENCOs, support staff and external agencies.
- Support pupils’ emotional regulation and confidence building.

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Previous SEN teaching experience preferred.
- Experience supporting pupils with Autism and additional needs.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Professional and resilient attitude.
- Passionate about making a positive difference in education.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
