Are you a passionate educator looking for more than just a teaching role?

Do you want to be part of a school where relationships matter, small achievements are celebrated daily, and your impact goes far beyond the classroom?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a welcoming and specialist primary SEN school in Bury. This is a rewarding opportunity for a teacher who is committed to inclusive education and passionate about helping children with additional needs thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.

Whether you are an experienced SEN practitioner or a mainstream teacher looking to transition into specialist education, we would love to hear from you.

Our school supports pupils with a range of additional needs including:

  • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)

  • Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
  • SEMH needs
  • Complex and sensory needs

We pride ourselves on creating a nurturing, engaging, and child-centred environment where every pupil is encouraged to develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning.

This is a school where creativity, patience, and compassion are valued just as highly as academic outcomes.

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
  • Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Support pupils' communication, emotional regulation, and social development
  • Work closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists, and families
  • Develop personalised learning strategies and EHCP outcomes
  • Use creative and therapeutic approaches to learning
  • Celebrate progress in all its forms - big and small

You will have the opportunity to make a genuine difference every single day.

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Is passionate about inclusive and child-centred education
  • Has experience working with SEN pupils, either in specialist or mainstream settings
  • Builds strong, positive relationships with children and families
  • Is patient, adaptable, and resilient
  • Can create engaging learning experiences tailored to individual needs
