We are seeking an enthusiastic Secondary SEN Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking school in Thrapston, working with students across Key Stage 3 & 4 with additional learning, behavioural, and emotional needs.

This is a rewarding opportunity to inspire young people through personalised learning, helping them build confidence, resilience, and essential life skills in a nurturing environment.

  • Role: Secondary SEN Teacher
  • Location: Thrapston
  • Contract: Full-time, Permanent
  • Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm
  • Setting: On-site, SEN & Alternative Provision
  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to individual student needs
  • Support pupils with SEN, SEMH, and additional behavioural needs
  • Create a safe, positive, and structured learning environment
  • Encourage student progress, wellbeing, and independence
  • Work collaboratively with support staff, SENCO, and wider school teams
  • Promote positive behaviour and strong student relationships
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience or strong interest in SEN, SEMH, or Alternative Provision
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • Patient, adaptable, and compassionate approach to teaching
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
