Are you a passionate and adaptable teacher looking to make a real impact in an SEN and Alternative Provision setting?

We are seeking a dedicated Secondary SEN Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking team in Norwich, supporting students across Key Stage 3 & 4 with additional learning and behavioural needs.

This is a rewarding opportunity to help young people build confidence, resilience, independence, and essential life skills through engaging and personalised learning.

  • Role: Secondary SEN Teacher
  • Location: Norwich
  • Contract: Temp to Perm / Long-term
  • Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
  • Setting: On-site, SEN & Alternative Provision
  • Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
  • Support students with SEN, SEMH, and additional behavioural needs
  • Foster a safe, structured, and positive learning environment
  • Promote communication, independence, and emotional development
  • Work closely with support staff, SENCO, and wider school teams
  • Encourage student engagement, progress, and wellbeing
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience or strong interest in SEN, SEMH, or Alternative Provision
  • Understanding of KS1 and KS2 learning approaches within secondary settings
  • Creative, patient, and compassionate teaching style
  • Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
  • A valid driver's license and own motor vehicle are required to drive through school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
