About the All-Through SEN Provision: This All-Through SEN Provision caters to students with a range of special educational needs and disabilities, providing a nurturing and supportive environment where every child can thrive. From Early Years to Primary and Secondary education, they offer a seamless transition for students as they progress through their educational journey.

Role Overview: As a Full-Time SEN Primary Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, tailored education to our primary-aged students with SEN. You will create engaging and inclusive lessons that meet the individual needs and abilities of each child, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students with SEN, including those with autism, learning difficulties, and speech and language impairments.
  • Utilise a range of teaching strategies, resources, and assistive technologies to support students' learning and communication skills.
  • Collaborate with SENCOs, therapists, and support staff to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and provide holistic support to students.
  • Foster a positive and nurturing classroom environment where students feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.
  • Build positive relationships with parents/carers, providing regular updates on student progress and involving them in their child's education.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching primary-aged children, preferably within an SEN setting.
  • Understanding of SEN frameworks, strategies, and best practices for supporting students with diverse needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with empathy and patience in working with children with SEN.
  • Commitment to promoting inclusion, equality, and diversity within the school community.
  • Willingness to undergo vetting procedures conducted by Teaching Personnel, our school's recruitment partner.

Additional Information: Teaching Personnel is a trusted recruitment partner, responsible for completing vetting procedures on behalf of the school. Successful candidates may be offered temporary-to-hire or direct school contract placements, depending on their qualifications and experience.
