Location: Bury, Greater Manchester 
Contract: Full time, long-term

We are currently recruiting for a full-time SEN Teacher to support within a primary specialist setting in Bury.

The provision supports pupils with Autism, communication needs and associated learning difficulties, with a strong focus on structured learning and individual development.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons adapted to meet a range of SEN needs within a smaller classroom environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering differentiated lessons
  • Supporting communication and engagement
  • Managing behaviour in a calm and structured way
  • Working alongside Teaching Assistants and SEN staff
  • Tracking and monitoring pupil progress
  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • SEN or primary teaching experience
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Patient and adaptable approach
  • Full-time availability
  • Smaller class sizes
  • Strong support staff presence
  • Long-term role within a supportive team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
