SEN experience

The KS3/4 Tutor will be responsible for providing academic support and guidance to students in Key Stages 3 and 4. Duties include developing and implementing tailored lesson plans, conducting one-on-one and group tutoring sessions, assessing student progress, and providing feedback to students and parents/guardians.

A degree in Education or a related field is necessary for this role.

Prior experience working as a tutor, specifically with Key Stages 3 and 4 students, is preferred. Experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN) is highly desirable.

Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Key Stages 3 and 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs. Proficiency in SEN support strategies.

Postgraduate qualification in Education or Special Educational Needs (SEN) is advantageous.

This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The tutor may need to travel to different locations to provide tutoring sessions. Flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate student schedules.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
