Exciting Opportunity for a Humanities Teacher in Manchester

We are currently working with a vibrant and inclusive school in the Salford area, seeking a Humanities Teacher specialising in Geography and/or History. This is an ongoing position for an outstanding practitioner who is passionate about improving students' opportunities through education.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a successful sequence of lessons within the curriculum, providing all students with the chance to progress and enjoy their humanities lessons.

Key Highlights:

  • Teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 as a Humanities Teacher
  • Full-time position
  • Diverse student group at a Manchester-based school
  • Pay in line with your MPS/UPS

Candidate Requirements:

  • Must hold QTS in the UK
  • Confidently deliver GCSE History or Geography
  • DBS on the Update service or willingness to apply for an enhanced DBS (Child Workforce Only)
  • Track record of improving pupil attainment
