A wonderful and supportive secondary school in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire are recruiting for a HLTA to start with them ASAP or from January 2027 with a view to go permanent. Role Overview:

  • Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
  • Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
  • Start Date: ASAP or January 2027
  • pay rate: £115 per day

Contract Type: Temp - Perm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Provide tailored support to students, including one-on-one or small group interventions.
  • Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Contribute to the assessment and tracking of student progress.
  • Collaborate with the teaching staff to develop effective teaching strategies.
  • Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.

Requirements:

  • Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience working in a secondary school setting is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
