Are you a talented and enthusiastic Health and Social Care Teacher?

Are you interested in teaching your subject within a diverse 11-18 secondary school?

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a large secondary school in Gateshead to recruit for a full-time Health and Social Care teacher to start in April 2024. If successful, you will become part of a successful and welcoming team of teachers where you will be responsible for teaching Health and Social Care to students in KS3 and Ks4.

Location: Middlesbrough

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 (M1 – UPS3 dependant on experience)

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Health and Social Care lessons.
  • Cover a KS3 and KS4 timetable.
  • Create a positive learning environment that promotes language skills development.
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress regularly and provide feedback.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and training sessions as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Health and Social Care or related field.
  • Experience teaching Health and Social Care to secondary school students.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for MFL.
