Education and Training

£20 - £30 Per hour

  • Provide individualised academic support to GCSE students in core subjects
  • Develop and implement lesson plans based on student needs and curriculum requirements
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Prepare students for GCSE exams through practise tests and revision sessions
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding student progress
  • Be able to adopt work and session tailored towards their SEN and SEMH needs
  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Education or subject-specific qualification
  • Experience in tutoring or teaching GCSE level subjects
  • Up-to-date knowledge of GCSE curriculum and assessment requirements
  • Degree in Education or subject-specific qualification
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong understanding of different learning styles and ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organisational skills to plan and deliver effective lessons
  • Work in the pupils home or local venue (library)
  • Interact with students, parents, and school staff on a regular basis

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
