English & Maths Tutor

East of England, Hertfordshire, Rushden

£20.00 - £25.00 Per hour

The English & Maths Tutor will be responsible for delivering high-quality tutoring in English and Maths subjects. Duties include preparing and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, providing feedback, and adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs.

A recognised teaching qualification in the UK, such as a PGCE or equivalent. A strong background in both English and Maths subjects. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A degree in English, Maths, Education, or a related field.

Minimum of 1 years of experience in tutoring or teaching English and Maths subjects. Experience working with students of various ages and abilities.

Deep understanding of the UK curriculum for English and Maths. Ability to motivate and inspire students. 

Additional qualifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) are desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
