Skills: SEN experience

  • Provide tailored educational support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Develop individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities
  • Deliver engaging lessons and activities to promote academic progress and personal development
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as teachers and parents, to support students effectively
  • Relevant qualification in education or special education
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Strong understanding of the UK SEN Code of Practise

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Minimum of 2 years working as an SEN Tutor or in a similar role

  • Knowledge of different SEN conditions and effective teaching strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail

This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The work will be primarily conducted in educational settings, such as schools or learning centres, in Lewisham, Greater London.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
