SEN English Teacher – Ipswich

Passionate about teaching English in a SEN setting? We’re looking for a qualified SEN Teacher like you!

This opportunity will enable you to work for a specialist school in Ipswich supporting students aged 5–16 with complex Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). The pupils include those with Cognition and Learning needs, moderate Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), dyspraxia, global developmental delay, and other diagnoses. The teaching is tailored to individual learning styles and developmental needs.

We are looking for a passionate, flexible, SEN English Teacher to join our supportive team and make a real difference to young people’s lives.

A driving licence is a MUST!

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver high-quality English lessons tailored to students with SEND
• Support pupils to achieve their potential in line with individual learning plans
• Contribute to assessments, curriculum planning, and progress tracking
• Work collaboratively with a team of dedicated SEN staff

Who We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience teaching in SEND or specialist school settings
• Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce Only), ideally on the Update Service
• Valid UK driving licence, essential for the role
• Flexible, adaptable, and committed to supporting diverse learning needs
