1. Provide tailored English language tutoring to students based on their individual learning needs.
2. Develop and implement lesson plans that focus on improving students' reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
3. Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to help them achieve their learning goals.
4. Utilise various teaching methods and resources to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
5. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to support students' academic development.
- A relevant degree in English Language, Literature, Education, or a related field.
- Previous experience in teaching or tutoring English to students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and build rapport.
- Knowledge of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and experience working with students with SEN.
Minimum Bachelor's degree in English Language, Literature, Education, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring English, preferably with SEN experience.
- Proficiency in English language teaching methodologies and curriculum development.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with educational technology and digital resources for teaching purposes.
- This is a temporary, part-time position with flexible hours based on student availability.
- The role may involve travel to students' homes or educational institutions within the Greater London area.
- The tutor will be expected to create a conducive learning environment and adhere to safeguarding guidelines at all times.
- The position may require occasional evening or weekend sessions to accommodate students' schedules.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
